As a Junior People Operations Associate, you will be supporting the smooth execution of core people processes and HR initiatives across the employee lifecycle. This role works closely with the People Operations Team Lead to provide logistical and administrative support, helping ensure that the employee experience is consistent, timely, and well-organized. It’s a foundational HR role designed for someone eager to grow within the people function.
Core Responsibilities:
- Process Support: Assist in the execution of recurring HR processes such as performance reviews, engagement surveys, and feedback cycles.
- Logistics & Coordination: Coordinate scheduling, communications, and materials for HR programs, trainings, and events.
- HR Systems & Documentation: Support accurate data entry and updates in HR systems (e.g., HiBob), maintain digital files, and track participation metrics.
- Onboarding & Offboarding Assistance: Help coordinate the logistics of onboarding and offboarding experiences, ensuring a smooth transition for new joiners and leavers.
- Employee Support: Act as a helpful point of contact for employees with basic questions about HR processes or tools.
- Culture & Engagement: Assist in the implementation of culture-building activities (e.g., HR initiatives, internal recognition program) and gather feedback on participation.
- Learning & Development Support: Assist in coordinating and tracking learning initiatives, including training logistics, scheduling, communication, and collecting/evaluating participant feedback.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics or a related field. A Master’s will be considered a plus.
- 1–2 years of experience in HR support, People Operations, or administrative coordination, preferably in dynamic or fast-paced environments.
Technical skills:
- Experience working with HRIS platforms (e.g., HiBob, Bamboo, or similar systems).
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Familiarity with core HR processes such as onboarding, performance management cycles, employee engagement initiatives, or learning & development support.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; able to interact effectively with employees and stakeholders across levels.
- Strong ability to manage multiple processes and logistics simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a changing environment; proactive in handling challenges and eager to learn.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely with the People Operations Team Lead, People Managers, and other members of the People team.
