About the Role

As the Pricing Analyst Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our pricing strategies, driving key company-wide metrics such as margin, conversion rate (CVR), and acceptance rate. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking, analytical expertise, and leadership to ensure competitive and data-driven pricing decisions aligned with our business goals.

You will lead and mentor a team of pricing analysts, ensuring their contributions collectively drive the success of your metrics. While the team currently comprises two analysts, you will have the opportunity to influence its growth and structure as the organization evolves.

In addition to your leadership responsibilities, you will work closely with product and technology teams to develop advanced pricing capabilities and data signals that enhance our pricing decisions. This includes contributing to the design and evolution of pricing technologies.

This is a high-impact role at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and product development, ideal for a leader with a passion for both operational excellence and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of pricing strategies that maximize marketplace value by optimizing traveler conversion rates, enhancing B2B competitiveness, and ensuring driver payouts remain attractive while maintaining balanced margins.
  • Oversee the monitoring and analysis of marketplace signals and seasonality trends, including growth curves, driver acceptance rates, satisfaction scores, and capacity, to ensure pricing decisions align with both demand and supply dynamics.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with teams such as commercial, operations, finance, and product to develop and implement advanced, data-driven pricing strategies that achieve traveler affordability and driver engagement.
  • Ensure the seamless execution of pricing adjustments by leading your team in deploying changes through Welcome Pickups systems, maintaining alignment with broader business goals.
  • Lead competitive market research and analysis efforts to identify new opportunities, refine pricing structures, and improve marketplace performance for both travelers and drivers.
  • Develop and track key performance metrics, such as traveler conversion rates, driver acceptance rates, and profitability, to evaluate the impact of pricing strategies and continuously improve outcomes.
  • Foster innovation within the pricing team, driving the adoption of dynamic pricing models and establishing a competitive advantage through advanced analytical approaches and strategy development.
  • Mentor and develop your team of pricing analysts, ensuring they have the skills, tools, and support to execute effectively and grow within their roles.
