About the role

Welcome is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our fast-growing and dynamic organization. As our Business Intelligence Analyst , you will play a critical role in driving financial insights and enabling data-driven decision-making throughout the organization. You will be responsible for gathering and analyzing financial and operational data, building financial models and forecasts, creating reports and dashboards, and providing actionable insights to the finance and operations team and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather financial and pricing data and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Enhance and maintain financial models and forecasts.
• Conduct insightful analysis and expose major and minor weaknesses, providing formidable solutions that deliver great value.
• Improves existing financial and pricing reports and designs new ones. Provides suggestions and action points to the CFO and Head of Drivers Operations.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to implement automation and transformation projects for the finance and operations department.
• Create, distribute, and maintain financial reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders from Finance and Operations department to define and track key financial KPIs.
• Identify trends and anomalies in financial data and investigate root causes.
• Participate in financial planning and budgeting processes.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in financial analysis and reporting.

The tools that you'll use on a daily basis are:

• DBT (Data Build Tool), expect to work a lot with it as it will be your primary tool for daily operations.
• The core of our data stack is enriched by: Google GCP, Vertex AI for machine learning workflows, and BigQuery PostgreSQL for our database needs.
• Top-tier solutions to enhance collaboration on our codebase and monitor our production include: GitHub CI / DI for continuous integration and delivery, ensuring seamless code deployment and management.
