As an Assistant Controller, you’ll play a key role in shaping Bookaway’s financial operations — ensuring accuracy, compliance, and actionable insights that drive business growth. You’ll work closely with our finance leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality reporting, manage accounting processes, and support strategic decision-making across a global organization.

What you’ll own:

  • Lead and manage a team of bookkeepers, ensuring timely and high-quality financial operations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with global standards.
  • Oversee month-end and quarter-end close, including reconciliations, forecasts, and controls.
  • Analyze budgets, actuals, and variances — delivering data-driven insights to management.
  • Manage cash flow, vendor payments, and support external audits and compliance processes.

Requirements

What You’ll Bring

  • CPA, ideally after internship experience in one of the Big 4 firms, is a must
  • 1-2 years of experience in financial reporting and accounting within a global or tech environment.
  • Strong analytical mindset, hands-on Excel proficiency, and familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite – advantage).
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken) and strong communication skills.
  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
