Description

Bookaway is looking for an experienced CRM and Marketing Automation Manager with a strong focus on email marketing. This full-time role is crucial to elevate the marketing performance at Bookaway.

You will own the end-to-end email marketing operations and execution, working alongside the Marketing, Data & Product teams to drive engagement, retention, and conversion through email and other channels.

Your mission will be to set up and maintain the tools & technology used by our marketing team to drive retention and acquisition of Bookaway users. This will include optimizing and creating new email flows, setting up proper A/B testing, improving segmentations and more. In addition, you will be in charge of building and maintaining a robust product <> marketing connection, aimed at leveraging production data and technology to drive highly targeted and personalized marketing activities.

You’ll join our Marketing team based in our headquarters, Tel Aviv, Israel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the email marketing strategy of Bookaway.
  • Build, improve, and maintain automated email flows to increase user engagement and retention.
  • Implement and continuously optimize A/B tests on subject lines, copy, design, and CTAs to improve open and conversion rates.
  • Develop advanced segmentation strategies to deliver personalized, relevant content to users.
  • Track and analyze email KPIs, ensuring data accuracy in Customer.io and Mixpanel.
  • Monitor and improve domain reputation, deliverability, and compliance with GDPR and privacy regulations.
  • Work closely with the Marketing & Product team and Data Analysts to align on email marketing priorities and goals.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in building, managing, and maintaining a CRM system in a B2C company is a must; experience in the Travel industry will be an advantage.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Email Marketing and Lifecycle Marketing.
  • Understanding of email best practices for email creatives, templates, metrics and associated KPIs, segmentation, dynamic content, and testing methodologies.
  • Knowledge of HTML and content management systems - an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using data to improve email performance.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL queries - an advantage
  • Fluent English (verbal and written)
