Travelier’s network of digital platforms allow customers to instantly buy intercity tickets to ferries, buses and trains in local markets which can be usually complex, enabling stress-free travel across the globe.

We're looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our new core R&D organization, “Travelier Connect”. As a member of the initial team, you’ll be responsible for designing and building Travelier’s brand new core business and technology infrastructure, together with experienced software engineers and architects. You’ll be involved in all aspects of the new system’s development and will have a significant impact on its success.

• 5+ years of software development experience
• Working knowledge of C# and .Net framework
• Strong knowledge of system architecture, best practices and design patterns
• Experience building high-scale backend systems, web services, APIs - and maintaining them in a high load, high availability production environment
• Knowledge of database and data store systems (SQL, Mongo, Dynamo, Redis, etc.).
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and deployment
• 3+ years of cloud infrastructure knowledge
• Excellent communication skills and a team player attitude with a can-do approach are essential
• Strong Advantage: Node.js
• Advantage: Machine Learning methodologies, Messaging systems/events streaming platforms (Kafka etc.), Data Processing pipelines
