About the Role
As Product Manager in the Activate team, you will own and optimise the customer onboarding and activation journey. This includes everything from registration and identity verification to the user’s first successful transaction. The Activate domain plays a critical role in user conversion, early retention, and product adoption, and is directly tied to revenue and business performance.
This is a high-impact role with significant cross-functional visibility and a broad scope of responsibility. You will report to a Director of Product and collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, Compliance, Legal, Marketing, and Data teams.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle for onboarding and activation flows
Identify and reduce friction in the user journey using data, experimentation, and customer insights

  • Improve core KPIs such as registration-to-activation conversion, ID verification pass rate, and time-to-first-transaction
  • Design and implement onboarding flows for new products (e.g. cards, IBAN accounts)
  • Collaborate with engineering, compliance, and operations to ensure regulatory and technical readiness
  • Monitor performance metrics, run A/B tests, and propose improvements based on data
  • Evaluate and implement tools and vendors related to onboarding, verification, and compliance
  • Represent the product area in company-wide planning and cross-functional discussions

Key Projects in the First 6 Months

  • Redesign and optimise the existing onboarding flow to reduce drop-off and increase conversion
  • Launch a new onboarding experience tailored to recently introduced financial products
  • Identify high-impact improvements through data analysis and customer research
  • Introduce and refine performance tracking for onboarding-related metrics

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Product Management, with a strong focus on Growth in high-scale B2C or mobile-first applications (preferably in fintech).
  • Demonstrated success in driving measurable growth outcomes (e.g., user acquisition, activation, retention, monetization, or engagement) through product-led initiatives.
  • Proven track record of running structured experimentation cycles—developing high-impact hypotheses, designing A/B or multivariate tests, and iterating based on data-driven insights.
  • Solid working knowledge of the Jobs-to-be-Done framework and other customer-centric methods to uncover growth opportunities and shape product strategy.
  • High creativity blended with analytical rigor—ability to generate bold ideas and validate them with data, balancing innovation with pragmatic execution.
  • Strong data literacy with hands-on experience in product analytics tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel, Tableau, or similar) and the ability to translate insights into growth levers.
  • Experience collaborating in cross-functional growth squads (engineering, design, data science, marketing, compliance), with proven ability to influence without authority.
  • Familiarity with product management and agile delivery tools (JIRA, Notion, etc.), with experience prioritizing in fast-moving, high-stakes environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align growth strategies across product, marketing, and leadership teams.

Nice-to-have qualifications

  • Experience designing and scaling growth loops(e.g., virality, referrals, user-generated content).
  • Strong background in funnel optimization, onboarding flows, and conversion rate improvements.
  • Familiarity with lifecycle automation and CRM tools(Braze, Iterable, HubSpot, etc.) to drive activation, retention, and re-engagement.
  • Knowledge of pricing and monetization experiments, including subscription, freemium, or transaction-based models.
  • Exposure to growth in regulated industries(fintech, healthtech, etc.), balancing compliance with rapid experimentation.
  • Comfort working with SQL or Pythonto dig deeper into growth data when needed.
  • International experience scaling products across multiple markets and cultures.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Salary: Monthly salary starting from €6000 - €8000 Gross month depending on the level of experience.
  • Annual Leave: 20 Days.
  • In Poland we are only able to offer B2B contracts.
