About the Role

Director of Product to lead TransferGo’s financial services portfolio, including cards, wallets, Business segment solutions, and payments. This role is central to executing our product strategy, ensuring that we deliver innovative, customer-centric, and commercially successful solutions. The Director of Product will lead a team of Product Managers and collaborate closely with stakeholders across the business to drive growth, profitability, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap across retail remittance and SME segments, aligned with company goals focused on the “Long Growth Cycle”
  • Drive prioritisation of product initiatives, ensuring a balance between customer needs, technical feasibility, and commercial impact.
  • Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation and market validation to launch, iteration, and scaling.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Product Managers, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, with a positive bias towards execution and a commercial mindset.
  • Partner with Growth, Engineering, Operations, and Compliance teams to deliver high-quality and compliant products.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
  • Define and track product OKRs, ensuring progress is measured and aligned with company-wide objectives.
  • Manage relationships with external partners, vendors, and banking providers to strengthen product capabilities.
  • Ensure operational efficiency and scalability of the product function through effective processes and resource management.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product management experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in delivering successful financial services or fintech products, ideally in payments, remittances, or SME solutions.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and challenges in financial services.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and the full product development lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated ability to define strategy, make data-driven decisions, and deliver results in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in building and managing high-performing teams.
  • Exposure to scaling products across international markets.
  • Familiarity with emerging fintech technologies such as embedded finance, open banking, or AI-driven solutions.
