About the role:
We are looking for a self-driven and highly motivated Senior Back-end Software Engineer to join our Commerce Pillar. You should be a quick learner who thrives in an evolving environment. In this role, you will be a product-minded partner who understands that engineering is about solving problems, not just writing code. You will directly shape our Commerce solutions by building reliable and scalable systems. We value engineers who can think critically about product decisions, practice effective prioritization, and challenge business requirements when necessary to ensure we build the most impactful solutions for our users.
Your daily tasks will include:
Core Development: Write and ship high-quality, scalable code, while identifying and addressing areas for improvement across the codebase.
Product Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and stakeholders, applying product thinking to every technical decision.
Engineering Culture: Contribute actively to the team through code reviews, refactoring, testing, and pair programming.
Ownership & Execution: Take ownership of the design and execution of your initiatives, driving prioritized bug fixes and platform improvements.
Continuous Growth: Engage in knowledge-sharing activities (attending or presenting at weekly sessions) and continuously develop technical and soft skills through best practices.
Your qualifications:
Good level of English (spoken and written)
5+ years in Backend development, with proficiency in either PHP or Node.js and a willingness to learn the other.
Strong expertise in high-load architecture, Distributed Systems, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and CQRS.
Solid background in software engineering principles and best practices (SOLID, TDD, CI/CD, Agile).
Comfortable using Claude as an LLM partner for thinking, architectural brainstorming, and code generation.
Skilled in debugging, unit testing, and optimizing application performance.
Product-minded approach (prioritizing work based on business impact over technical preference) with a strong sense of ownership.

Backend: PHP 8.1+, Symfony, Laravel & Yii2, Doctrine, PhpUnit, static code analysis tools.
Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis.
Engineering Tools: Postman, Git, GitLab, GitHub Copilot, PhpStorm, Grafana, Kibana, Prometheus, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker,
Remote work Tools: Tuple, Jira, Miro, Google Workspace, Slack.
Development Practices: Pair Programming, Code Reviews, Continuous Integration/Deployment.
AI-assisted development: Practical experience using LLMs and coding assistants to improve software development workflows, including implementation, testing, debugging, documentation, and code quality
