As Lead People Partner, you’ll work closely with senior leaders to help them be their best, build high-performing teams, and tackle exciting challenges. You’ll have the chance to drive organizational transformation, foster a diverse and inclusive culture, and leave a lasting mark on Preply’s growth journey.

This isn’t just an HR role - we’re looking for someone strategic, business driven and passionate, who’s excited about contributing to big decisions and real change.

What you’ll be doing:

• Strategic Partnering: Be the go-to advisor for your chapters and leadership team, connecting the dots between business goals and people strategies. Whether it’s about talent, performance, or organizational growth, you’ll help leaders make decisions that drive the business forward.
• Shaping People Processes: Build and adapt our People initiatives to support your chapters and keep pace with our rapid growth. Don’t be afraid to experiment - this is your space to make things better.
• Performance & Development: Help leaders set clear goals, coach their teams, and create opportunities for growth. You’ll also make sure our rockstars get the recognition they deserve.
• Boosting Engagement: Use tools like Culture Amp to unlock insights and work with leaders to create strategies that make Preply an even better place to work.
• Data-Driven Insights: Bring people data to the table, translating metrics into stories and actions that improve the way we work.
• Leading Change: Partner with leaders to help their teams navigate change, stay aligned, and embrace a growth mindset.
• Talent Acquisition: Collaborate with our Talent Acquisition team to bring in diverse, high-performing talent that fits our culture and fuels our goals.
• Cross-Functional Projects: Own and lead at least one big initiative that has an outsized impact across Preply, raising the bar beyond just your chapters.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Strategic thinking: You can connect people and business strategies to solve challenges and spot opportunities 1-2 years ahead.
• Leadership excellence: Coaching and advising senior leaders is your sweet spot. You know how to help them grow, make better decisions, and build high-performing teams.
• Culture champion: You’re passionate about creating a workplace where everyone feels empowered, included, and ready to do their best work.
• Builder of better orgs: You’ve got a knack for designing structures and processes that scale with the business while keeping things efficient and effective.
• Data driven: You know how to analyze people data, spot trends, and share insights in ways that get buy-in and drive action.
• Change Management: You’re experienced in leading teams through big changes with clear communication and empathy.
• Project & program management: You’ve successfully managed cross-functional projects and delivered real results with measurable impact..
• Growth mindset: You’re not afraid to test new ideas, learn from the results, and adapt quickly.
• Team player: You’re a pro at building strong relationships across teams, bringing people together, and navigating different perspectives.
• Experience: You’ve spent 8+ years in HR/People roles, with at least 5 of those years partnering with senior leaders in fast-paced, global companies.
• Location: You’re fluent in English and ready to work from Barcelona or Kyiv - or make the move to join us.
