Tier 1 Support Engineer

Description
Key responsibilities:
- Continuous 24/7 tickets monitoring and alerting
- Logging production errors in the K2view ticketing system
- Investigating and analyzing production issues
- Notifying customers as necessary
- Restoring the system to an operational state when applicable, gathering data for Tier 2/R&D, and creating data correction processes
- Informing the project team of necessary changes to address and resolve the error, if applicable
- Engaging Tier 2 support when needed
- Generating weekly and monthly ticket reports
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Industrial Management, Computer Science, or relevant experience.
- Required: Over 2 years of experience with Linux (Windows experience is a plus).
- Required: Over 2 years of experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Required: Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving basic technical issues.
- Required: Fluent in both spoken and written English.
- Required: Willingness to work shifts, including one weekend per month (24/7 shifts).
- Required: Exceptional communication skills.
- Required: Customer-focused and able to remain calm under pressure.
- Preferred: Proven experience as a Support Engineer or in a similar customer support role.
- Preferred: Proven experience with Java programming.
