The role

We’re looking for a Billing & Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Colombia. You’ll own the end-to-end billing cycle for an assigned client portfolio across North and South America – ensuring invoices go out correctly, payments come in on time, and clients always have a reliable point of contact.

What you will do

  • Create invoices following established procedures

  • Review automatically generated invoices for accuracy and completeness

  • Perform monthly billing reconciliation between the ERP system and local Notas Fiscais

  • Collaborate with Finance, Sales, and Customer Success on contract terms, payment status, and client requests

  • Manage inbound client communication – calls, emails, and support requests – responding promptly and professionally

  • Monitor and follow up with overdue accounts/debtors across the South American portfolio

What you bring

  • 2+ years of experience in billing or other accounting process handling is preferable

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

  • 1+ year experience in a leading customer-facing organization (B2B SaaS is an advantage)

  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)

  • Experience with Brazilian local invoicing

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with sharp analytical skills and high attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines consistently

Nice to have

  • Intermediate proficiency in Portuguese

  • Experience with ticketing systems

  • Experience working with CRM platforms (Hubspot preferred)

  • Practical experience with AI-powered tools
