The role

Ideals has a strong focus on empowering our global teams with tools and services that maximize performance and value as we scale from 450+ people across 25+ locations to even greater heights.To power our growth with strategic procurement and optimized spending, we look for a Procurement Sourcing Specialist to secure high-quality goods and services by finding, evaluating, and selecting optimal vendors.

In this role, you’ll drive cost efficiency and compliance through strategic procurement across various spend categories, leveraging in-depth market analysis and effective supplier relationship management skills. What you will do

  • Forecast and manage demand to align procurement activities with business needs

  • Conduct cost analysis, scenario planning, and risk assessments to support sourcing decisions

  • Monitor price, supplier, and market trends to inform procurement strategies

  • Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers, ensuring performance meets agreed KPIs and company standards

  • Ensure compliance of new and existing contracts with company policies and requirements

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure transparency throughout sourcing, selection, and contracting processes

What you bring

  • 2+ years of experience in procurement, including at least 1 year in international procurement

  • Experience in IT and/or marketing procurement categories

  • Solid understanding of the Procurement / Strategic Sourcing Framework

  • Proven ability to conduct cost-benefit and total cost of ownership (TCO) analyses

  • Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills

  • Project management experience, including managing multiple stakeholders

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency in English (at least B2 level for speaking and C1 for writing)

Nice to have

  • Experience with software and SaaS procurement

  • Experience with digital or performance marketing procurement

Our assessment process

We believe in competency-based interviews combined with work samples and we share clear expectations for each element. Our interview assignments simulate what it’s like to work at Ideals and the type of tasks you’ll tackle. Here are the stages of the interview process for this role:

• Screening call with the Talent Acquisition Specialist (45 mins)

• Hiring Manager interview (60 mins)

• Competency-based interview with the Talent Acquisition Specialist (90 mins)

• Test task and Presentation (3 hours)
