The role
At Ideals, we’re growing fast – across regions, cultures, and regulations. To keep pace while doing what’s right, we’re looking for an Employment & HR Compliance Lead who can bring structure, clarity, and confidence to our global HR operations.
In this role, you’ll shape and lead our approach to employment compliance across 25+ countries. From policy design to risk mitigation and legal research, you’ll be the go-to expert ensuring our people practices are not only legally sound but also people-first and business-enabling.

What you will do
Build, maintain, and continuously improve global HR compliance frameworks across multiple jurisdictions
Translate employment laws and regulations into clear, practical policies and processes
Lead internal audits and risk assessments; proactively resolve gaps with pragmatic solutions
Collaborate with internal legal teams and regional experts on employment matters, terminations, and sensitive employee issues
Own data privacy compliance (e.g., GDPR) across all HR systems and employee workflows.
Monitor compliance using HRIS platforms (e.g., BambooHR, HiBob) and other tools; report on trends and risks

Partner cross-functionally with People Ops, Legal, Finance, InfoSec, and IT to align HR compliance with business priorities
What you bring
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail; able to simplify legal or complex topics for diverse audiences
Experience managing HR compliance in a global or multi-country setting
Solid understanding of international employment law, risk mitigation, and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR)
Hands-on experience developing and implementing HR policies, audits, and legal processes
Comfortable working with HRIS and digital tools to track, monitor, and analyze compliance data
A proactive, resourceful mindset – someone who enjoys learning, solving problems, and improving systems
Strong written and spoken English (C1 level or above)
