The role

Ideals is among the Top-5% of all companies on RepVue, as rated by Sales professionals. As we rapidly expand globally, we’re looking for a Commissions Specialist to join our Revenue Operations team and make sure our sales teams are compensated, motivated, and aligned with the company’s revenue goals.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with key departments, including Sales, Customer Success, and Accounting, to drive transparency and accuracy in commission processes. You will report to the Data Quality and Commissions Team Lead. Your expertise will help boost the sales team's performance and support Ideals’ sustained revenue growth.

This position is open to candidates based in India.

What You Will Do
  • Calculate sales commissions for sales professionals across various countries and sales verticals
  • Support and enhance current commission processes, focusing on refining calculation methodology to drive better efficiency
  • Maintain and update documentation for commission processes, ensuring clarity and compliance
  • Collaborate with the sales team, and address their commissions-related questions
  • Perform routine tasks, including data analysis for tactical decisions, manual reporting, commission documentation tracking, and offering insights to the leadership team
  • Lead projects and pilot initiatives, contributing to continuous improvement and operational efficiency

What You Bring
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, with a solid background in commission calculations, revenue operations, or sales operations
  • Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
  • C1 level English or higher to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent analytical and system skills, with the ability to work through complex data and maintain high attention to detail
  • Strong self-organization skills and the ability to deliver results independently
