The Role

We are looking for a Business Development Lead, to drive our growth as the first-choice VDR provider in Brazil. Based in Sao Paulo and reporting directly to the VP of Sales, you'll lead a high-performing sales team to foster key partnerships, explore untapped verticals, and continue our stand-out growth performance. Your insight and initiatives will redefine the industry with industry-leading tech solutions while ensuring an exceptional client experience.

We seek a proven sales leader with a track record of individual contribution. The role is ultimately responsible for the growth of the region and requires a passionate, value-based selling-focused leader who can balance team development and individual contribution. As a manager, you will play an active role in generating new business revenue by leading by example, managing sales operations, and coaching team members. Using a data approach to targeting your territory you will need to analyse sales metrics on an ongoing basis to inform strategies and coach your team to exceed targets. What You Will Do
  • Lead a team of field sales professionals
  • Manage business development metrics and drive functional outcomes
  • Hire key talent and own a rapid onboarding process for new team members
  • Foster collaboration within the team and across the customer lifecycle
  • Encourage continuous learning & development within the team
  • Mentor and coach your team to meet personal and business goals
  • Drive the performance appraisal process along with defining operational metrics for the team
  • Align with marketing, product, customer success, finance, and executive teams around objectives
  • Cultivate new business and develop partnerships
  • Support closure of strategic deals and nurturing partnerships to ensure both immediate and long-term success
  • Lead by example in setting team vision, interacting with customers, managing deals, participating in company leadership forums, and attending industry events that demonstrate our values
  • Keeping up to date on markets, segments, customers, emerging markets, market shifts, new products, competition status, external forces and feeding insights into planning
  • Representing the company at industry events
  • Lead by example by actively participating in the sales process to contribute revenue to the team goal
  • Deliver product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients
  • Participate in negotiations, contract discussions, and other complex sales activities

What We Look For
  • 8 years of hands-on experience in new business development sales
  • At least 2 years of outbound sales managerial experience
  • Experience with managing high-velocity and volume sales strategy
  • Professional sales background within the B2B SaaS industry
  • Solid experience in system transactional sales, sales methodology, and techniques, sales and negotiation practices
  • Experience motivating, coaching, and developing teamsExperienced in managing at least 4 employees across field sales teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
  • Driven to deliver the best customer experience

Nice To Have
  • A strong advantage of experience in financial or consulting fields, understanding M&A
