Are you a qualified instructional designer and a native English speaker with a passion for customer education? Are you tech-savvy and looking to join a market leader in the vacation rental industry, contributing to compelling training experiences?

We are looking for a Customer Education Developer to join Guesty's Training team, and help pioneer the establishment of the customer education domain at Guesty. This is part of our efforts to provide extraordinary customer experience to our users and expand their self-service opportunities.

The Customer Education Developer will be responsible for creating top-notch e-learning courses for our diverse customer base, assessing its effectiveness, and improving it based on feedback and data. The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders across the company to ensure customers optimize their use of our industry-leading products.

• Create engaging, interactive and compelling e-learning materials and videos for Guesty’s customers – to guide them on how to use our robust product, to support onboarding processes, and to promote feature adoption.
• Work closely with stakeholders and subject-matter experts from various departments, to identify critical areas of the product with high impact and friction, and translate them into training materials for customers at varying technical and product experience levels.
• Analyze training efficiency and user engagement, and work to improve the data.
• Manage content across all tools - authoring tool, video editing tool and LMS - while keeping a cohesive and organized structure.
• Produce and facilitate webinars and community events.
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously, and under tight timelines.
• Take full end-to-end ownership over projects within Guesty’s Training team.

• At least 3 years of experience in developing customer-facing technical training courses and materials – a must
• Native English speaker, both verbal and written – a must
• Experience with SAAS products in a global, dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with instructional design and learning methods
• High proficiency in creating interactive e-learning courses using authoring tools such as Rise and Storyline – a must
• High proficiency in capturing and editing "How To" videos using video editing tools (such as Premier Pro, Camtasia, Filmora) – a must
• Experience in creating and managing learning paths, courses, and tracking learning activity on an LMS
• Proficiency in writing effective instructional copy and video scripts in various educational formats
• Creativity and graphic design skills, for designing visually appealing and engaging training content
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, for collaboration with stakeholders across various levels and geographies
• Empathic intelligence, ability to ask the right probing questions and simplifying complex notions and processes
• Positive "Can-Do" attitude, proactive, self-motivated, and independent
• Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail
• Technical orientation, curiosity and self-learning mindset
• B.A. or diploma in relevant fields (learning technologies, instructional design, or other)

Nice to have

• Experience in using graphic tools such as Canva and Photoshop
• Experience working with Jira and Google suite
