London, Waterloo (Hybrid, 4 days in-office - Wednesday is our set work from home day, though you can come in on Wednesday too if you wish)
We are disrupting one of the world's largest asset classes, property. With £2Bn+ assets on our platform and 30,000+ users across 70 countries, we're building the future of asset ownership and in doing so, are able to address wealth inequality.
Our product simplifies property investing from start to finish, making real estate investment accessible to everyone.
What you'll love doing:
Working in cross-functional product teams, taking data initiatives from concept to deployment.
Navigating ambiguity in a fast-moving environment where ownership and freedom are core to how we operate.
Building data products and analytics infrastructure across the full stack. Working fluidly between SQL transformations and YAML configurations, using AI tools as your co-pilot throughout development.
Collaborating closely with product and design to ship high-quality analytics fast. Writing clear, maintainable SQL and dbt models for humans and AI models alike.
Helping to define analytics practices for an AI-first development culture. Mentoring other engineers as we scale our team and impact.
What you'll be doing:
Building a data platform that powers decision-making across GetGround, working as the second member of our data team alongside our Lead Data & Analytics Engineer.
Owning and evolving our dbt analytics layer, designing modular, testable, well-documented models that scale with our rapid growth.
Using the data your modelling to generate cross-business insights that inform decision-making at every level.
Develop a deep understanding of the business to proactively uncover insights and influence strategy through data.
Co-governing our Count Metrics Catalog and building trust in data across Product, Design, Growth, and RevOps teams.
Supporting Mixpanel event instrumentation via Avo, ensuring our product analytics semantics are rock-solid.
Working with a modern stack (BigQuery, dbt-core/fusion, Dagster, Count, Mixpanel) and driving adoption of best practices.
Enabling self-serve analytics across the business - not just serving stakeholders, but empowering them.
What we're looking for:
3-5+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or similar roles with production-grade analytics experience.
Fluency in SQL and comfort with git, dbt, and cloud-based warehouses (we use BigQuery).
Experience implementing CI pipelines, modular dbt practices, and working with event-level product analytics data.
Someone who cares deeply about code quality, reproducibility, and stakeholder trust.
A collaborative mindset, you'll mentor others, challenge assumptions, and ask "why?" frequently.
This role isn't for you if:
You want fully remote work. We're hybrid with 4 days in-office and believe passionately about the advantages of in-office collaboration and innovation.
You prefer being handed requirements rather than partnering with stakeholders to define analytics solutions.
You want to work in isolation. We see analytics as a collaborative function at the intersection of product, engineering, growth, and operations.
You're looking for a slow-paced corporate environment. We move fast, own outcomes, and live by our values: no BS, pursuit of excellence, feedback obsession, and healthy ego.
