We are an international technology investment firm managing venture growth, secondary buy-out, and growth debt funds. We are looking for a skilled Accountant / Accounting & Finance Manager to join our Finance Team and play a key role in managing accounting, reporting, and financial analysis across our group of companies.
Key Responsibilities1. Accounting / Reporting / Audit / Tax
- Maintain accounting and reporting for all companies within the Group (operational entities, Funds, GPs, SPVs, etc.) using accounting software.
- Assist with quarterly VAT reports for Cyprus and other jurisdictions.
- Support quarterly books closure and financial statement preparation for Investment Funds and SPVs.
- Handle ad-hoc accounting, tax, and reporting tasks (e.g., tax rulings, compliance).
- Assist with deal structuring.
- Coordinate with external administrators and accountants.
2. Finance
- Conduct monthly and quarterly financial analysis of portfolio companies.
- Support quarterly investment valuations.
- Perform various financial analyses and modeling on an as-needed basis.
3. Technology & Automation
- Take initiative or assist in automating financial and reporting processes.
4. Cross-Department Projects
- Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Compliance teams on various projects.
- Conduct ad-hoc research and analysis as required.
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
- 3–7 years of relevant full-time work experience.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS.
- Fluent in English (oral and written).
- Solid experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Peachtree, or similar).
- Prior industry practice (public accounting only does not qualify).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
- Plus: Prior experience in investment funds or the financial industry.
