We are now looking for an Accountant/Accounting Manager to join our Finance Team in Cyprus office.

We are an international technology investment firm that manages venture growth, secondary buy-out and venture debt funds.

Requirements:

• Completed Higher Education in Finance, Economics or Accounting
• Strong knowledge of IFRS
• Strong Experience of working with accounting software is A MUST (Quickbooks, Peachtree, etc);
• Fluent oral and written English
• 3 - 7 years of full-time work experience
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance/supervision
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
• Team player

a plus: Prior experience of working in the investment Fund/financial industry;

Job responsibilities:

1. Accounting/Reporting/Audit

• Main responsibility: accounting and reporting for all the companies in the Group parameter in the accounting software of the Group (operational entities, Funds, GPs, SPVs, etc)
• Preparation and submission VAT report for Cyprus entity
• Assistance with quarterly books closure/FS preparations for Funds/SPVs
• Monthly cash reconciliations for all Group Companies/Funds
• Key contact for all Group invoices/Preparation of invoices for all companies
• Various accounting/tax/reporting tasks for all entities in the Group Structure on as needed basis
• Review and communication of external administrators and out-sourced accountants
• Initiative or assistance in implementation of automation processes

2. Various projects of Finance/Legal/Compliance Investment Departments
