About the Role:

As our Inbound Sales Executive, you’ll be the first person prospects speak to when they reach out to us. You’ll manage and qualify all inbound leads, educate prospects on our platform, and either own the sales cycle for SMB deals or schedule discovery calls with our Account Executives for high-potential opportunities. This role requires strong communication skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to effectively articulate and convey the Crowded product.

What You’ll Do:

  • Respond to all inbound leads within agreed SLAs (via email, chat, web form, or phone)
  • Qualify leads by understanding their needs, organization type, and readiness to buy
  • Route and schedule qualified leads to the correct Account Executive based on territory or segment
  • Manage the full sales cycle for smaller or less complex accounts
  • Own CRM hygiene by updating lead and account data, activities, and handoff notes
  • Partner with marketing and sales leadership to provide feedback on inbound quality and lead trends
  • Contribute to and maintain sales playbooks and talk tracks tailored to vertical-specific inbound use cases
  • Occasionally support outbound follow-ups to re-engage warm leads or nurture longer-term opportunities

What We’re Looking For:

  • 1–3 years of experience in inbound or SDR sales at a SaaS or tech company
  • Comfort with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and sales engagement platforms
  • Ability to listen, empathize, and quickly grasp customer needs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience scheduling across multiple calendars and managing time-sensitive follow-ups
  • Self-starter with a high degree of ownership and accountability
