Drive Innovation on the Road

We’re seeking an expert security camera installer who thrives in a dynamic, travel-intensive career, joining our select team of master technicians revolutionizing agriculture with AI-powered camera systems. This is not an entry-level role—it’s for seasoned professionals with proven skills, a relentless drive to deliver flawless results, and a passion for balancing on-the-go fieldwork with high-level technical work. Based in Milwaukee or Chicago, you’ll dive into small to complex installations on dairy farms after minimal training, travel extensively across the Midwest and beyond, and solve mission-critical challenges. If you’re energized by a fast-paced, high-impact career, this is your opportunity to lead the way.

Your Role:

  • Install and troubleshoot commercial IP cameras (Hikvision, Axis, Dahua, etc.) and Ubiquiti wireless systems (Access Points, Nanobeams) in agricultural environments.
  • Run and terminate Cat6 cabling in demanding conditions (dust, humidity, variable lighting).
  • Configure Linux/Debian 12 servers and provide remote support using tools like TeamViewer or AnyDesk.
  • Travel 50-75% regionally and nationally (all expenses covered), working 8-12 hour days with ladder and attic work.
  • Collaborate with our expert team on large projects and manage regional inventory with precision.

What You Bring:

  • 3+ years of professional experience installing and troubleshooting commercial IP camera systems in industrial or agricultural settings—no exceptions.
  • Advanced networking skills (TCP/IP, VLANs, Ubiquiti or equivalent systems).
  • Proficiency in Linux/Debian 12 (OS installation, system configuration).
  • Expertise in Cat6 cabling, termination, and testing.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and low-voltage tools.
  • Residence in the Milwaukee or Chicago area (non-negotiable).
  • Ability to work independently after two field training trips to learn our protocols, not installation techniques.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills, with a commitment to delivering top results, even during extended hours.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Low-voltage licensing or certifications (BICSI, NICET).
  • Experience with commercial conduit installation or agricultural environments.
  • Advanced Linux/Debian administration or remote support expertise.

Why This Career Excels:

  • Competitive Pay: Start at $5,200/month (90-day 1099 contract), then transition to W-2 with $62,400–$72,800/year, paid time off, and opportunities to lead regional projects.
  • Travel Perks: All expenses covered (flights, hotels, meals) plus mileage reimbursement (~1,000 miles/month) for regional and national assignments.
  • Tool Allowance: $500 annually to maintain top-tier equipment.
  • Elite Team: Join a select group of expert technicians in a company with 150+ successful dairy farm installations, driving innovation in agriculture.
  • Dynamic Impact: Balance 60% fieldwork with 40% remote technical support, solving complex challenges with cutting-edge technology.

Application Process:

Only experienced professionals ready to perform from day one should apply. Submit your resume and a brief description of your largest commercial IP camera project (number of cameras, site type). Qualified candidates will complete a technical assessment to demonstrate their expertise. We respond within 24 hours to keep the process moving.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, with flexible travel and potential for extended hours to meet project demands.

Work Environment: 60% field-based (dairy farms), 40% remote support from your home office.

Ready to Lead the Way?

If you’re an expert installer who loves extensive travel, technical excellence, and lives in Milwaukee or Chicago areas, apply now to join our select team and transform agriculture. Out-of-area applicants will not be considered.
