As a Health and Safety Specialist reporting to the Global Workplace Experience Lead in our Global Workplace Experience team, your purpose will be to ensure our workplaces are not just compliant, but genuinely safe and exceptional environments for our employees across the globe. You'll go beyond traditional H&S duties to influence our employee experience, from onboarding to office management, making safety an integral part of our company culture. Your responsibilities will include:
- Global Health & Safety Compliance: You will ensure we adhere to local H&S regulations in Poland and support compliance efforts in France/UK and the US. This involves conducting regular H&S audits, leading training inductions, and developing emergency response procedures for all offices.
- Occupational Health Administration: You'll serve as the primary liaison with occupational health service providers, managing contracts and coordinating all employee medical examinations and referrals globally.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: You'll work closely with other teams to integrate a safety-first mindset into company initiatives. This includes providing H&S input on employee onboarding, office management decisions, event planning, and supporting the creation of standardized incident reporting protocols. You will also be responsible for investigating and resolving any H&S incidents and maintaining all relevant documentation.
Essentially, to ensure you succeed in this role you’re going to need…
- A Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Facilities Management, or a related field is preferred. We will also accept equivalent professional experience and/or relevant H&S certifications.
- Understanding of Polish H&S regulations and compliance requirements.
- Prior experience in a global or international role, preferably in a tech environment.
- A safety-first mindset with a genuine commitment to protecting employee health and wellbeing.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of H&S governance.
- The ability to work as a primary liaison with occupational health service providers globally.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Polish and English (C1).
