As a Privacy Specialist reporting to the Privacy Team Manager in our Privacy and Compliance team, your purpose will be to handle privacy-related requests, ensure compliance with GDPR, and collaborate with teams to safeguard user data.
Your responsibilities:
- GDPR Compliance: Handle Subject Data Requests (DSR) from clients and authorities, conduct quality checks on GDPR-related processes, and assist in optimizing and enforcing privacy procedures to ensure compliance.
- Privacy Risk Management: Proactively identify privacy risks and compliance gaps, support in managing data breach events, and propose solutions to mitigate potential issues.
- Collaboration & Improvement: Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Customer Service, Operations, Product) to ensure privacy standards are met, and contribute to improving privacy tools and workflows.
- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain proper documentation and archiving of privacy-related information, and provide support and advice to leadership on key privacy matters.
Essentially, to ensure you succeed in this role you’re going to need…
- Minimum 2 years of experience in privacy and data protection, with a strong understanding of GDPR.
- At least 2 years of experience in customer service within a SaaS, Marketplace, or tech solutions company, focused on privacy management.
- Fluency in English and Polish (written and spoken). Spanish B2+ would be considered as an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of GDPR regulations and Subject Data Requests (DSR).
- Understanding of international privacy regulations beyond GDPR (e.g., CCPA).
It will also help you to have…
- Fluency in Spanish would be an asset.
- Familiarity with cookies privacy management tools.
- Familiarity with systems like Salesforce or Zowie.
